We specialize in helping fly anglers become proficient in all techniques used to catch steelhead - both spey & single handed fly rods. Guided steelhead trips take place in Oregon from December through April. We start fly fishing for steelhead on the Chetco River in December and finish the season up on the Elk River and Sixes River. Being on the water almost every day, you can expect us to take you where the fishing is best. 

 A Day of Fly Fishing for Oregon Steelhead

A day of guided steelhead fishing begins early in the morning before the sun rises. Your guide will launch the drift boat in the dark so that you can take advantage of the low light conditions in the morning hours. This is one of the best times of the day to catch a Trinity River steelhead, when the river is cool and the fish are rested. You will start the morning off fly fishing with indicators and when we come to a run that needs to be swung, we will get out of the boat and fish from shore. After a full day of fly fishing your guide will have you back to your car or hotel around 5 p.m.
